We meet every Thursday night, currently in B101, in the Business Building at 7:00. The first half an hour is just a chance to catch up with other people over coffee, biscuits and sometimes cake! Then at about 7:30 we officially start our meeting, where we open in prayer. We then move onto some worship using a mix of contemporary and more traditional songs. The group then splits into smaller groups where we pray about a chosen topic or for each other (but, if you aren’t used to praying then there’s no pressure on you to do so). After this we may do another few worship which then leads into a talk, usually from a speaker from a local church. This usually lasts about 20 minutes and is on a topic chosen by the executive team. We tend to finish around 8:45 with a short prayer, a song and relevant notices for upcoming events.
